Heraklion
We only stayed in Heraklion one night - this is the largest city and is where the airport is that we flew into. We barely saw any of it because most of our time was spent Westward, however I think it's worth checking out.
-
Infinity City Boutique Hotel - lovely rooms, really nice breakfast, friendly staff
-
THINK TANK cafe - good coffee, beautiful rooftop seating area with lots of greenery
-
Plánē - cute restaurant with outdoor seating, right next to the hotel
-
Wine and cheese from small markets
-
Walking around the harbor
-
Old town had a lot of cute looking restaurants that we would have loved to try!

TUCKER'S 1ST BIRTHDAY
Birthday Rarty // Ridgeview Venue, Alexander, North Carolina
During my trip to North Carolina I finally got to meet the cutest little boy of one of my very close friends. I was so lucky to have been in town for his first birthday party! They rented out the venue right down the street from their house in the beautiful mountains just outside of Asheville. Everything from the cake to Tucker's onesie matched the "Where the Wild Things Are" theme. I think it's safe to say that what Tucker most enjoyed about his party were the balloon cluster and the cake smash (see below). Most importantly, he was surrounded by so many people that love and adore him - he is one lucky little guy! Happy birthday, Tucker!
